Outrage as Beloved South African DJ Killed in the Heart of Johannesburg.
A prominent South African media personality and entertainer has been murdered in the metropolis of Johannesburg, sending shockwaves across a nation battling entrenched crime.
Warrick Stock, popularly known as DJ Warras, was attacked in the central business district on the afternoon of Tuesday.
Authorities reported the 40-year-old media personality was approached by three individuals, with one shot at him before running away.

"The report indicates the man was confronted by three unidentified men after he parked his car, and they shot at him before running from the location on foot," an official report said.
Surveillance tape showed a individual with dreadlocks and wearing what looked like a protective services outfit opening fire on Stock before making his escape.
The DJ tried to run away after he was shot but fell down on the opposite side of the road.
Police added that Stock had an gun that was not fired and no items were stolen during the attack.
